The Fête and Duck Race went brilliantly. Thank you to all who helped in many, many ways and especially to Gill, and Jim Gibson, two masterminds of planning.
The day raised £5,855, with some money still to come in, for the church fabric.
Well done, everybody. A superb effort, after a lot of hard work.
The Diocesan safeguarding campaign "It’s Not Just Policy, It’s Personal" highlights how safeguarding is about people, not just processes, and the importance of the four Rs:

£1,150 was raised by providing teas at the Longner Gardens Open afternoon. A record!
Thank you to all those involved and to those selling ducks for the Annual Duck Race.
Many thanks to the St Giles Church Community Choir, conductor Dr Derry Bertenshaw, and all those who took part in an afternoon of happy, nostalgic music. A great success.
Thank you to all who contributed to making the evening of carols, good fare, drink and merriment at The Mytton and Mermaid on 10th December such an enjoyable occasion

Thank you to all the Dixon family, Joyce, Gill, Karen, Nigel, Sue x 2, George Swain and many others but particularly Richard Pulford and the Brassic Oompah Band for a greatly enjoyed evening at Home Farm which raised £3,077 for the Church Fabric Fund.
There was a very good attendance at the Harvest Festival and it was especially good to be joined by friends from St Giles and the St Giles’ Church Community Choir.
Thank you for donating foodstuffs to The Ark, via Barnabas’ Food Bank as part of the Harvest Festival. It was a very generous contribution much appreciated by those in need.
Thank you to everyone who helped Reverend Zoë for a very happy and enjoyable Teddy Bears’ Picnic. A lovely occasion.
Thank you to all who assembled a multitude of clothes for the Better Clothes Sale. Under Gill's leadership this was an enormous success, raising £4000 for the Fabric Fund. Thank you to the Parish Council for allowing us to use the Malthouse. This huge success involved a considerable amount of work, all for the benefit of our beautiful church.
On Easter Sunday, in a beautifully decorated church, bright sunshine outside, we were pleased to welcome fifty-one adults and six children.
Thank you to Judy, Sam, Laura and Ben (of Shropshire Radio fame) and to John Malam for organising a very good Service for Animals at Home Farm.

At St Eata's we do not operate an open chalice policy. At Holy Communion we intinct the bread (wafer) with the wine and both are received together
